Berlenga Grande Beach is Berlenga’s most famous beach. It is located next to the Fishermen’s Quarter. There is also Praia do Forte, located next to the masonry bridge that connects the fort to Berlenga.

Discover the rich fauna, represented by birds that nest solely in the Berlengas, such as Roque-de-Castro, Corvo Marinho and Airo, symbol of Berlenga and one of the smallest Portuguese seabirds.

Caves and Dream Worlds

The Furado Grande, the most impressive cave of the Berlenga crosses the island: as if it were a natural tunnel 70 meters long. There are dozens of caves to explore throughout the island, many of them submerged.
